Over the weekend, we were pleased to have been guests at Abby’s FIRST birthday, who is one of Mia’s gal-pals. Daddy Dom and I made Abby her first A-frame play tent. She wasted no time testing it out. She crawled through it a few times and I’m pretty sure it got her approval. You can find out a little bit more about our handmade tents HERE.
There was a flock of other babies and toddlers in attendance. It was really sweet to see Mia interact with them. Our kid has no fear when it comes to exploring through her surroundings and engaging with other kids. She’s intrigued by them, really. Children’s voices at the store, at the park, and even on TV always grab her attention. At the party, it was cute to see Mia follow a few other toddlers around and try to play with toys they were playing with. The other kids don’t always find that cute, responding with “no” or “mine” when Mia so eagerly tries to crash their play-party. It makes me proud to see her socialize, though. I’m so glad I don’t have a “fraidy-baby.” We really need to get her around other kids more often to sharpen her mingling skills.
This was her first ride in one of these push-cars. She looked like such a big girl cruising in it. Whenever it stopped, she’d rock her body back and forth trying to get it going again. And..I know…the outfit, right??? My little fashionista.
