Typically, a silhouette of a figure is its outline filled in with black. Here’s a fun, shimmery twist on how to make a silhouette or portrait using….GLITTER! Usually, I’m not a big an of the stuff. Being an art teacher, I’ve crossed paths with glitter from time to time over the years. I’m still finding pieces of it in places I won’t mention. I don’t know if you knew this, but glitter is the herpes of the crafting world…one encounter with it and it stays with you for life. That aside, I bring you a golden, glittered deer head portrait on a canvas!
Materials: Canvas (any size), glitter, glue, paint brush, paint
