Matilda Jane Review & Giveaway!

I recently had the pleasure of reviewing a few garments from a darling clothing company called Matilda Jane. One of the reasons I love blogging is having the opportunity to share really great products with my fellow parents friends and blogworms. Matilda Jane’s clothing is no exception and are a true gem among the many options out there for children’s clothing.

What makes them so unique? I think they have a few really great things going for them…

First of all, their fabrics and patterns are seriously, so charming. They’re full of whimsy and absolutely capture a child’s true sense of innocence with their playful quality. As a mom, I appreciate how their clothing allows my daughter to be a child. Their fashions don’t try to emulate those that are trendy or that belong to a much older crowd. They’re fun, colorful and expressive…just like my daughter and my guess is that your little loved ones fit a similar description.

Another cool detail worth mentioning about Matilda Jane’s clothing is that most of their pieces can and should be mixed and matched with each other. Their dresses, blouses, leggings, jumpers, tops, cardigans and jackets within each collection has been purposely designed to pair with more than just one other garment. How brilliant is that?! This makes shopping so simple and it makes pairing clothes for your little each morning a breeze! I love that.

Their clothes are appropriate for school, parties, photo sessions and even just playing at the park. Think about Matilda Jane for a one-of-a-kind gift at your next birthday party, baby shower and Christmas gift for that special little one in your life.

I requested to review the Kentucky Blue Pearl Dress which was perfectly paired with their Gleam Leggings and Nancy in Chocolate Headband. Unfortunately, my daughter refuses to wear headbands so it’s not pictured with the review. The good news is that it’s a self-tie headband which means it’s easily adjustable to fit my daughter’s head as she grows. I’m sure as she matures, she’ll become more accepting of these fun accessories.

matilda jane Collage3Living in southern California means we don’t really get extreme temperatures over the changing seasons. Our winters will get colder and as the temps drop, adding an extra layer underneath the dress via a long sleeve shirt is very doable and appropriate.
